Just as we were digging into tax dollars being used to pay for abortions for a later post, we get this update from Politico that another amendment offered by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) was defeated. This amendment would “have prohibited discrimination against health care providers who refuse to provide abortion services. The amendment failed 10-13 with Democratic Sen. Conrad and Republican Sen.
