The Drudge Report has an interesting story about Senator Harry Reid (D-NV). As reported by The Associated Press, Reid “described then-Sen. Barack Obama as ‘light skinned’ and ‘with no Negro dialect.’ Obama is the nation's first African-American president.”
Reid of course, “regrets” what he said and sends his apologies to anyone who may be offended by his remarks.
Thing is, Reid has a history of using incendiary language and over-the-top rhetoric.
Reid Accused Then-Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist And Republicans Of “Amateur Leadership.” “The Democrats have issues of their own, not the least of which is Dr. Frist’s plan to spend 30 hours next week attacking Democratic filibusters against a few of President Bush’s judicial choices. Oh, and who can forget this doozy where Reid compares opponents of ObamaCare to those who opposed the abolition of slavery?
