Morning Dose Of Reality: US Be Better Off Had McCain Won?

Amid a slew of polls showing President Obama’s approval ratings slipping, more and more Americans opposing ObamaCare, and growing pessimism over the handling of the economy, comes this humdinger:

American’s Divided Over Whether Country Would Have Been Better Off If Senator John McCain Had Won The Presidential Election. “In the Quinnipiac poll, there was a narrow margin among respondents, 35-37 percent on whether the United States would have been better off had Obama's Republican opponent John McCain won last year's election.”  (“Americans Split On Obama’s First Year: Polls,” AFP, 1/13/10)

This has to be one of the worst polls Obama’s camp has seen. After all, Obama blasted McCain in the election, winning in a landslide.
